Founded in 2018 by Foster Wilson and Brian Leahy, Something Wilde Productions is an independent film production company in Los Angeles, intent on creating female-driven narratives with female-driven crews. The company’s inaugural short film WAFFLES screened at more than 25 festivals worldwide and garnered several nominations and awards before its online release in 2018. MÍA, a short produced in collaboration with the Alliance of Women Directors and the Shoot ‘Em Up film series, premiered at Disney Studios in October 2018. Their 2019 short film MADE PUBLIC, starring Jeanine Mason and Josh Zuckerman, won multiple awards on the film circuit (including Best Film, Best Director, and the Audience Award at the Bentonville Film Festival) before premiering online through Short of the Week and Omeleto.

Something Wilde is now in pre-production for their 4th short film (5 STAGES OF GRIEF, a SHIFT Creative Fund Finalist) and are currently developing several feature films. Brian and Foster are both represented by Fourth Wall Management.
