Made Public screens at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Short Film Showcase by Foster Wilson

On September 4, 2019, the award-winning short film MADE PUBLIC screened as part of the 2019 Los Angeles Short Film Showcase, hosted by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. Director Foster Wilson joined fellow filmmakers Sarah Gross, Eileen Abarrca, and Marissa Labog for a post-screening panel hosted by Ron Hanks. The women discussed a variety of topics, from the impetus for their films to the specific challenges of female filmmakers.

Florida Film Festival invites director Foster Wilson to join 2019 Filmmaker Forum by Foster Wilson

The 28th Florida Film Festival will host its annual Filmmaker Forum at the Enzian Theater on Friday, April 19th, at 11AM. The invited filmmakers and panelists include:

  • Mia Tate | Campesino

  • Sara Zandieh | Simple Wedding

The panel will be moderated by Sheena Fowler, Senior Director of Marketing and Communication for the Orlando Film Commission.

Foster Wilson to attend 49th Annual USA Film Festival screening of MADE PUBLIC by Foster Wilson

Now in its 49th year, the USA Film Festival in Dallas, Texas, has selected MADE PUBLIC as one of 5 shorts in its Showcase Short Films program, screening on Friday, April 26th at 7:15PM at the Angelika Film Center. MADE PUBLIC director Foster Wilson will be in attendance as #USAFF and host Stephen Tobolowsky present this special evening of absurd and sinister shorts.

Join USAFF friend and program host Stephen Tobolowsky as we salute the filmmakers of five absurd and dark-hearted short films featuring characters whose choices have unexpected outcomes including Chris Roe and Traci Lords with CEMETERY TALES: A TALE OF TWO SISTERS; Denise Crosby with Paul Sanchez’s AT THE FENCE; Eli Powers with HOLY MOSES starring Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski; Foster Wilson with MADE PUBLIC; and Lisa McFadden with THE ILL-TIMED ENLIGHTENMENT OF JASON VOORHEES. Made Public director Foster Wilson to join Filmmaker Forum panel at 2019 Florida Film Festival by Foster Wilson

MADE PUBLIC director Foster Wilson has been selected as one of six 2019 Florida Film Festival directors to discuss their films and the trials and triumphs of the filmmaking process as part of the annual FILMMAKER FORUM, which takes place on Friday, April 19, following the April 18th screening of MADE PUBLIC.
